The Hotel Poem is a 19th century Ottoman style boutique hotel renovated in 1992. Its lobby area features scattered rugs and wood furniture with doors leading out to the garden. It is located in the center of the old Sultanahmet, 500 meters from the Emperor Justinian's Byzantine masterpiece Hagia Sofia. The 17 guestrooms feature traditional Turkish décor with oak furnishings and wrought iron bed. All include Internet connections, air conditioning, hair dryers, and telephones.
The hotel houses a library, a garden and offers complimentary parking for guests arriving by car. For those guests with business needs, the hotel provides conference rooms and a range of secretarial services. At the hotel's Terrace Bar, guests can enjoy a wide selection of drinks and snacks. The Grand Bazaar with its thousands of shops and eateries, is at a one kilometer distance. Ataturk Airport is 18 kilometers from the hotel.
