DRIVING DIRECTIONS
Havas airport buses run to central Istanbul (Taksim Square) from the arrivals level at 5 AM, and then every 30 minutes from 6 AM to 11 PM; the fare is around 4,000 Turkish Lira and the journey takes about 45 minutes. Public bus number 96 runs into town every hour from 7 AM to 7.40 PM. Buses also run to Akmerkez (Etiler) hourly 7 AM to 9 PM and to the Seabus Port (Bakirkoy), coinciding with boats to and from Bostanci and Kadik�y. Istanbul's cheap public transport network including buses and trams. The main bus station, the Otogar, is 10 kilometres west of Sultanahmet at Esenler. Istanbul has a large fleet of yellow taxis, but a cheaper way of getting around the streets is to hire a dolmus, a shared taxi or minibus. Ferries and catamarans run along the Golden Horn or up the Bosphorus.
Driving directions: From the airport, follow the coastal road to Sultanahmet. The 7 Hills Hotel is opposite the Four Seasons Hotel.
